why do I sleep so good on adderall and do others as well?
if I take it and lay down I'll usually get tired as fuck as it starts to kick in. from the moment after ingestion I have a like 2 hour time window to fall asleep pretty easily, sometimes accidentally. if I don't, then it just feels like trying to randomly sleep after just waking up a few hours ago, not restless, just not sleepy. if I do fall asleep though, I'll usually sleep 3-6 hours, maybe a little more. even if I had just got a whole night's sleep and woke up at 9 am 2 hours ago, I can still pass out if I choose.
it making me tired is whatever, nothing unheard of, but Its weird because it's genuinely the best sleep in my life. idk if it's just giving me a false sense of being well rested because well, it's Adderall, or if I'm really just sleeping better.
I notice in lower doses (15-40mg) in particular make me feel significantly more well rested, and I usually sleep long enough that it would've well worn off I was awake. usually with higher doses (60-150mg at once) it's probably 50/50 whether I'll get the usual tiredness from onset and come up, or if I just get that butterfly anxious rush kind of feeling and inability to sleep.
if I do fall asleep as, or before a larger dose is kicking in, I'll sleep for a couple hours as well. Im not sure if I'm just a tard, but when I do this, it obviiously makes effects noteably weaker, some might say wasted, (I can't ever get sleep like I do on it so I don't give a fuck it's wasted) but it feels kinda smoother and more natural almost. idk.
does anyone else experience this though? and yes, diagnosed with adhd and whatnot, I'm aware that's probably why it makes me tired. it's also the reason I never got recreational effects from it until taking 30mg ir for the first time, with no tolerance, at 135-45 ish lbs.
