LDR Ended (24F) And How To Cope

Hello guys,

I (24F) was in an LDR for almost two years with a guy (34M) from Israel. I am an American woman.

We would video call basically everyday, sleep on call, I would video call him at my lunchtime so he'd be able to talk to me while I'm eating.

I also went all the way over there and met him, and his family. We were very compatible physically, and religiously as I am converting to Orthodox Judaism.

Honestly, it came out of left field, and was very unexpected and sudden. I was extremely surprised. He never expressed his emotions and feelings previously that I believe could've helped the relationship not end.

He video called me to break up, and then instantly blocked me on everything. I didn't even have time to process, ask any good questions at all. I actually called into work Tuesday, and tried to work yesterday but was crying all day and went home.

I got a private therapist now that I set up. It isn't just the sadness and pain that the relationship ended, but it's hard because I don't believe I'll find another Jewish guy that was like how he was. We were very compatible in religion.
