Doctors note

Okay to be honest these requirements for getting a doctors note for one day of sickness is a joke . I called out for being sick and they said bring a doctors note . At that point I’m going to make sure I have a few days off . Am I horrible for that ? I just think if they’re okay with us wasting our time with that why not take some time for myself off ?
