Have people recently been too good?

I'm gold 2 and recently all of my opponents have been insane, ground mechanics are pretty much the same but aerial mechanics have been ridiculous, people somehow hitting the ball every time while in the air, being able to air dribble a bit off the wall, just gameplay in general that does not feel like gold. Most of them aren't smurfs either.

Like a week ago my lobbies were perfectly fine, competitive and everyone was at a similar skill level but now all of a sudden everyone feels like diamonds. Genuinely starting to feel unplayable atp
