Here goes nothin

So after reading and commenting a bunch I decided to make a post of my own. Here goes..

I’m 45M hoping to find someone with similar interests. If it turns into something serious, cool, but even if I make a great new friend from it, so be it.
Pennsylvania born and raised but currently reside in Louisiana. Im a process plant operator so I work shift work which is both a blessing and a curse. Swapping between days and nights can be tough, but I technically only work 6 months out of the year, and every month I get 7 straight days off.

Cooking is my passion so when I’m off I’m always cooking something. Music is a big part of my life. Whether driving or in the kitchen I’m always listening to something. I’m hoping to find someone with similar music interests because I love going to concerts and I have a bucket list I need to start working on. I’m open to and listen to all diff genres, but I’m admittedly stuck in the 90’s. I pretty much listen to stone temple pilots, Alice In Chains, deftones, foo fighters, etc on repeat. Also a big fan of bob seger and the silver bullet band, the cars, tom petty, dire straits, etc. I also listen to nofx, the ramones, the misfits, the germs, the Dead Kennedys, etc. Can’t forget pantera, gojira, tool, mastodon, megadeth, to name a few 🤣

I’m a big fan of hockey and almost all collegiate sports. I love going to games as much as I love going to concerts. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do with my vacation time. Both foreign and domestic, but who wants to do these things alone? 🤷🏽‍♂️ I sure don’t.

What someone does for a living or their lvl of education is much less important to me than the type of person they are. I’m not into politics or religion. I could care less if someone shares diff views than I do, I simply ask you respect how I feel and don’t try to convert me. Other than that I’m easy. I don’t ask for much and I’m not hard to please. I’m completely self sufficient. I own my own home and my kids are grown and out of the house, although I do spend time with them regularly.

I’ve rambled enough. If you managed to make it through this novel I appreciate you taking the time to read it. If there’s anything I left out that you’d like to know DM me. I’ll gladly share pics so you know who you’re chatting with. I don’t do OLD and I have no social media (other than Reddit) so I’m shooting my shot here.
