I built a calmer visual debt tracker for people who struggle with traditional budgeting apps
Hi everyone, I’ve been building a small web app called Veowe, aimed at people who find normal budgeting/debt apps overwhelming, especially ADHD, dyslexic, and neurodivergent users.
The idea is to make debt, savings, BNPL payments, and regular money commitments easier to visualise rather than just showing stressful numbers and spreadsheets.
At the moment it supports:
- Manual tracking for debts, savings goals, buy now pay later, and money projects
- Connected bank accounts through TrueLayer/Open Banking where supported
- A hybrid approach, so you can use manual entries alongside connected account data
- Visual progress views to make repayments and savings feel easier to understand
I’m not trying to replace proper debt advice or financial support. It’s more of a calmer tracking tool to help people understand what they owe, what they’re working toward, and what progress they’re making.
It is new so I’d really appreciate feedback from people who have dealt with debt or struggled with budgeting apps:
Would something like this have helped you?
What would make it more useful or less stressful?
Are there any features I should avoid because they might make people feel worse?
I hope this can help some people, I've previously struggled with debt and sometimes find seeing the numbers feel endless and difficult to look at and acknowledge as understand that clearing debt or savings is the priority so trying to keep the price low.

Cheers, any honest feedback is appreciated.
