Beginner questions on Duolingo

Question 1:Hi gais, recently came back to Duolingo to learn Bahasa Indonesia. Tbh, I wanted to learn Bahasa Melayu, but I searched it up and they said it's very similar, almost like American and British English so I stuck to it. Just to be sure, this is true right? Bc I wanna be able to converse with people in Malaysia.

Question 2:Previously I was learning Japanese, and there was speaking exercises, but for bahasa indonesia I'm not encountering any. I checked settings but I can't find it so I'm not sure whether I have it turned on. Is there any speaking exercises for this language because I searched it up an AI overview said it does

Question 3: Also, is there a way to see my practice hub words to newer words because it keeps repeating the same starter words over and over again. I wanna memorise newer words because as I'm learning it's getting hard to keep track of which words and their meanings.
