Flying with 1 year old

Need all the tips and tricks to keep my 1 year old in my lap entertained for 2 flights. Buying him a seat is not an option bc

1. In this economy???🤣🤣 I don’t have an extra $600 laying around
2. He wouldn’t stay in that seat anyway

I’m packing lots of snacks, toys, etc
