# Antigravity 2.0 Update Gives Agents More Control

Antigravity 2.0 Update matters because it gives AI agents more control over the work they are asked to complete.

This is not just another coding assistant update.

Google is moving toward a setup where agents can take bigger goals and break them into smaller jobs.

That changes the user’s role.

You are no longer only typing every small instruction.

You are setting the direction, checking the output, and letting agents handle more of the process.

That makes Antigravity 2.0 feel more like an agent operating layer than a normal code tool.

The six new powers make that shift clear.

Sub-agents, scheduled tasks, project structure, a faster CLI, voice input, and slash commands all push the workflow in the same direction.

Agents are becoming easier to direct and easier to manage.

# Dynamic Sub-Agents Are The Biggest Antigravity 2.0 Update

Dynamic sub-agents are the feature that makes Antigravity 2.0 Update feel much bigger than a normal tool refresh.

The main agent can take a goal and split it into smaller parts.

Then it can create specialized agents for each part.

One sub-agent can focus on frontend work.

Another can handle backend logic.

Another can run tests.

Another can prepare supporting files.

This matters because larger tasks rarely move in one straight line.

They usually have several pieces happening at once.

Dynamic sub-agents let the system process those pieces in parallel.

That is a major step forward for agent workflows.

Instead of one assistant moving through tasks one by one, you get a small team working through the project together.

That is why this feature is one of the six huge powers.

# Scheduled Tasks Turn Agents Into Repeatable Workers

Scheduled tasks are another important part of Antigravity 2.0 Update.

Agents can now run cron-style tasks through the /schedule command.

That means you can tell an agent to run something every day, every hour, every Monday, or at another set time.

This makes agents more useful for repeatable work.

A daily report can be created automatically.

A recurring check can happen without manual prompting.

A weekly summary can be prepared on schedule.

A simple maintenance task can run in the background.

The real value is consistency.

Most AI use still depends on a person remembering to open the tool and ask for the task.

Scheduled tasks change that pattern.

The agent can show up for the same task at the right time.

That makes Antigravity 2.0 more useful for ongoing workflows.

# Project Structure Gives Agents Better Boundaries

The new project structure gives Antigravity 2.0 Update another practical advantage.

The older setup was more tied to repositories.

The new version is built around projects.

That matters because real work is rarely limited to one folder.

A project might include code, docs, assets, tests, planning notes, and multiple connected work areas.

Antigravity 2.0 can work across that wider structure with permission scopes.

That means one agent can access the right folders while still following clear boundaries.

This is useful because agent workflows need control.

You want agents to help, but you also want them to know where they should and should not work.

Project-based structure makes that cleaner.

It gives bigger workflows more order.

That makes Antigravity 2.0 feel more practical for serious agent tasks.

# The New Antigravity CLI Replaces Gemini CLI

The new Antigravity CLI is one of the biggest practical changes.

Gemini CLI is being shut down for many users on June 18th, 2026.

That means people using Gemini CLI need to move to the new Antigravity CLI before the cutoff.

The new CLI is built in Go.

That makes the terminal workflow faster and smoother.

It also supports asynchronous work.

You can start a bigger task, let it run in the background, and keep your workflow moving.

That matters because agent jobs can take time.

A good CLI should not make you sit around waiting for every step.

The new Antigravity CLI shares the same engine as the desktop app too.

That makes the platform feel more connected.

Improvements can carry across the experience instead of living in separate tools.

# Voice Input Makes Agent Prompts Easier To Give

Voice input is one of the underrated Antigravity 2.0 Update features.

There is a microphone option next to the text input boxes.

It transcribes your words live as you speak.

That sounds simple, but it changes how people give agents instructions.

Complex prompts can be easier to speak than type.

You can explain the goal, the context, the constraints, and the output you want in a more natural way.

That helps when a task has many details.

A better prompt usually creates a better result.

Voice input gives users a faster way to get those details into the agent.

For people building larger workflows, this can save time.

It also makes the tool feel more natural because you can talk through the task instead of typing every piece manually.

# Slash Commands Give Antigravity 2.0 More Precision

Slash commands are another one of the six huge powers inside Antigravity 2.0 Update.

They give users faster ways to control agent behavior.

The /goal command tells the agent to complete the whole job.

The /grillme command tells the agent to ask clarifying questions before it starts.

The /schedule command creates recurring tasks.

The /browser command allows browser use.

These commands matter because agent work needs different modes.

Sometimes you want the agent to move quickly.

Sometimes you want it to slow down and ask better questions first.

Sometimes you want it to run later or repeat on a schedule.

Slash commands make those choices clearer.

They also make the workflow feel more controlled.

That is important because powerful agents need simple ways to guide them.

# Gemini 3.5 Flash Makes Antigravity 2.0 Faster

Gemini 3.5 Flash powers the new Antigravity 2.0 agent layer.

That matters because agent workflows depend on speed and context.

The source notes that Gemini 3.5 Flash runs around four times faster than comparable frontier models.

It also scored strongly on Terminal Bench 2.1 and supports a 1 million token context window.

This makes it useful for large codebases, longer documents, and bigger project instructions.

Speed matters because agent workflows are iterative.

You give the task.

The agent works.

You review the output.

Then you adjust and run another pass.

A faster model makes that process easier.

A larger context window helps the agent understand more of the project.

That combination makes Antigravity 2.0 more practical for real work.

# Antigravity 2.0 Update Is Not Only For Developers

Antigravity 2.0 Update may look like a developer release, but the workflow pattern is bigger than coding.

Dynamic sub-agents can help with any task that splits into pieces.

A content workflow can split into research, outline, writing, editing, and formatting.

A business workflow can split into data gathering, analysis, reporting, and next steps.

A project workflow can split into planning, building, testing, and documentation.

That is why this update is interesting beyond the terminal.

The agent model is becoming more useful for parallel work.

Developers will notice it first because the tool is built around coding.

But the same structure can apply to content, research, operations, and automation.

The [AI Profit Boardroom](https://www.skool.com/ai-profit-lab-7462/about) is useful here because it focuses on turning new AI launches into practical systems instead of random experiments.

# Gemini CLI Users Need A Clear Migration Plan

The migration timeline is one of the most important details in the Antigravity 2.0 Update.

Gemini CLI and Gemini Code Assist IDE extensions stop serving requests for many users on June 18th, 2026.

That includes Google AI Pro users, Google AI Ultra users, and free individual users.

Enterprise customers with Gemini Code Assist standard or enterprise licenses are the exception.

That means most individual users should not ignore the deadline.

The clean move is to install the new Antigravity CLI early.

Then test a small workflow.

Try the /goal command first.

Use /grillme when the task needs more detail.

Set one scheduled task during the first week.

This gives you time to adjust before the old workflow stops responding.

# Antigravity 2.0 Update Changes How Agents Get Managed

Antigravity 2.0 Update changes how agents get managed because the platform gives users more ways to direct work.

Sub-agents divide large tasks.

Scheduled tasks create repeatable workflows.

Projects create stronger boundaries.

The CLI gives terminal users a faster path.

Voice input makes complex instructions easier.

Slash commands give the user more control.

Together, those six powers make agents feel less like one-off assistants and more like a coordinated system.

That is the real shift.

The user becomes the manager.

The agents become the workers.

The platform becomes the place where the work moves.

This is why Antigravity 2.0 feels like a major release.

It gives people more structure for using agents in real workflows.

# Antigravity 2.0 Update Gives Agents 6 Huge Powers

Antigravity 2.0 Update gives agents six huge powers that make the system more useful.

Dynamic sub-agents help split big tasks into parallel work.

Scheduled tasks help agents repeat jobs automatically.

Project structure helps agents work across folders with clearer boundaries.

The Antigravity CLI replaces Gemini CLI with a faster terminal workflow.

Voice input makes it easier to explain complex instructions.

Slash commands give users direct control over agent behavior.

Those six pieces work together.

They make Antigravity 2.0 a more complete agent platform.
