Am i doing something wrong or its normal in mewing

So when i try mewing it feels like i can't put suction to make it stick to the room like it feels like i am actively pulling it or applying pressure and also it feels like only the front side is touching it also feels like i might be putting force forward. The backside stays down of my tongue what should i do
