the company i sold just got acquired for 60x the amount i sold it for.

i built an media site when i was 22, that was growing rapidly and I got a $500K acquisition offer 9 months later. i stupidly decided to take it, thinking the money would help me fund my next projects. i was also supposed to keep a small percentage which because of flawed advice from my m&a advisors i wasn't able to keep. (bureacratic laws of my home country that i trusted them to navigate well for the high fees i paid them)

it was recently acquired for 8 figures cash. i want to fucking kill myself, even the small percentage i was supposed to keep would be multiple times higher than my current net worth (which is dwindling due to not investing and also no income coming in)

what do i do? everything feels so hard and even getting the traction i got previously feels like it'd take years. i feel completely demotivated and down. i have an idea im working on that i believe in rn but it just sucks to start from 0 again with the constant stress of a dwindling bank account.

do you recommend i raise a small angel for my next venture so that i dont sell too early and am able to not be stressed about money? or is it better to just bootstrap like i did earlier? or should i just take a small fucking break - probably would just end up working though
