Endless anxiety about not getting the PEP shot

10 days ago my wife and I came home mid day to a bat flying around d the living room Of our house. The bat wasnt aggressive or acting strange, other than flying during the day. It was flying around the room trying to g to find a dark place to perch. By the time animal control got there the bat had gotten out again.

We got the unvaccinated cats rabies vaccines the day after and our dogs vaccine status was good.

We called the virginia dept of health and explained the situation, they determined we didnt need PEP. We sleep with our bedroom door closed, I woke up 2 hours before my wife and didnt see a bat, she woke up and didnt see a bat, and we both chilled in the kitchen/living room for like 2 hours that morning before running errands and didnt see a bat. While the bat was in the house we were both awake and did not notice any physical exposure to the bat.

Regardless of all of this every day since the exposure I have had crushing anxiety. I just need guidance from someone who knows.
