Extended Leave after loss.

Tw: pregnancy loss.

I had my first appointment at the hospital yesterday. Unfortunately baby did not have a heartbeat. I am absolutely devasted. I was 13 weeks and 4 days, but measuring around 10

I am wondering if anyone has experience with extended leave after a loss. I have surgery scheduled for tomorrow, but I don't think I can face going back to work after the amount of stress they have caused me. I don't want to blame them, but I can't help but wonder if I was somewhere more supportive, would it have not happened.
