Community Update

Hey everyone, quick update from the mod team regarding the recent posting issues in r/Monopoly_Go

Recently, we implemented a filtering feature that automatically removed posts from accounts below certain karma and account age requirements. The goal was to help combat the increasing number of sellers and spam accounts appearing in the subreddit.

Unfortunately, the filter ended up affecting legitimate community members as well, including users who have been active in the subreddit for quite some time. That was never our intention, and we understand how frustrating that experience has been.

Because of this, we’ve now removed the feature entirely.

We truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we tried to find ways to better protect the community, and we’re sorry to those whose posts were incorrectly removed during this period.

We’ll continue working on better solutions to keep the subreddit safe from sellers and spam without disrupting genuine members of the community.

Thank you all for sticking with us 💛
