What should I do with my old channel?

Here's the thing: I used to run a gaming channel, and I created a YPP there. It was my first channel on the account. But the gaming topic didn't convince me, and I only uploaded one video every few months to maintain my YPP. That was a few years ago, and now I run two channels in the science and technology category.

I've just received a notice of serious violation and lost my YPP on all my accounts. The reason was that I used a piece of leaked gameplay from a game that had been deleted in my video (Nintendo). The video was a few years old.

I tried to appeal, but it was rejected. From what I understand, I have to renew my YPP on this old, dead account and wait three months.

I did a very stupid thing in a fit of anger, I deleted all the gaming videos from that channel because they were already dead, but that messed up the algorithm on my entire account. I lost 80% of my impressions everywhere.

I changed my old channel to a new category (science and technology) and did a complete rebranding with a new name. I also started posting videos there, but it's been a disaster, with only a few views per video (I have about 15 videos there), and it's been a month. Subscribers are also slowly dropping.

Will this ever be fixed? I've put years of work into my other channels.
