Ryu Kamishiro was 19, and a low level nobody, when two Sovereigns annihilated NYC and killed eight million people. A year later, he's alive, broke, and barely scraping by in the ruins of a dead city.

In this new world, power is measrued by rank, and the only work that matters is clearing incursions in the hunt for monsters, loot, and xp, before the dungeon timer hits zero and detonates.

Then a Bronze incursion goes bad, Ryu's crew is killed and the boss that should never have existed, shows him mercy... And grants him a Mythic sword and a key to his own void dimension, where he can train faster than the rules were ever meant to allow — but every level is paid for with his own death.

Every death will change Ryu, forever, but he will no longer just stand by and watch.

***The people who built their power and fortunes on decimated cities and the lives of millions of innocents are going to learn to fear his name.***

**What to expect from the story:**

* *Weak to strong revenge story with family/crew building, business management (company that clears dungeons)*
* *Power struggles with IA (an organisation that monopolizes dungeons and uses it to profiteer on the backs of the lower classes)*
* *Kingdom building (inside a personal void dimension), with monster recruitment/earned loyalty.*
* *Monsters that might actually just be a little... misunderstood.*
* *Progression through levelling, dying, killing, some rare tomes, herbs, and ores...*
* *And satisfying vengeance on some very hatable characters.*
* *Romance subplot starting mid-to-late Volume 1.*

**What NOT to expect:**

* *Sex, sexual content, sexualisation, harem.*
* *Weak to OP MC without any kind of cost, this will be hard fought, hard earned, and everything that happens to Ryu will change him, permanently.*
