One UI 8.5 Notification Panel Issue

I've got the S24 Ultra. Previously, I'd swipe down to show the notifications panel (set to together if that matters). I'd also be able to swipe up to push it away.

After the 8.5 update, swiping up doesn't seem to get rid of the panel like it used to? Instead I have to hit back - I use gestures, and the issue is I'd end up clearing one of the notifications by accident. Does that make sense?
