Need advice on how to upgrade my rig

Hi all after some advice on wherer to go with my rig

Bought it about 5/6 years ago with the following spec (it has had some upgrades)

Ryzen 9 3900

MSI 2070 super

32GB 3200mzh DDR4 RAM

MSI B450M-VDH-PRO-MAX motherboard

1tb Samsung 970 evo M.2

750W PSU (cannot remember the brand off the top of my head)

1440p asus 144hz monitor

I had borrowed a 10GB 3080 GPU from a friend but have since had to hand it back and im looking into what i can do with this machine to keep it somewhat viable. Ive been looking at used 3080ti's for a card and i think id have to upgrade the CPU too as im pretty sure the stanadrd 3080 i borrowed was being bottlenecked by my processor so was looking into the Ryzen 7 5800X.

Id rather upgrade my current rig as a new machine is going to run me in excess of £2000 but an upgrade will cost me less than £1000 so i just want to make sure im looking intot he right things

Cheers in advance
