If you work at a data center in the us how has your data center supported the community or done greater bc its allowed there

We have a bunch of farm land in my area and they want to be everywhere. But the residents are opposed. I am open to it if they figure out the utility usage and help keep residents utility the same or even cheaper or support community improvements and housing. With all of technology today how can they not figure this portion out seems like a engineering fix.

We can all use the tax revenue but how do we combat the cons.

I feel like its better here then them abroad and provide jobs, tax revenue and can support community initiatives.

We have warehouses all around and data centers are less trucks right?

Can ppl who work at one physically tell me how it has been or what opportunities you have gotten from it ?
