Affordable clothing brands for people with sensory issue?
My husband isnt tested for his ADHD or Autism. For the most part, he is normal & high functioning. But he is very...veryyy difficult when it comes to clothing.
When we first met, he owned 3 Tshirts, 2 jeans & 1 long sleeve shirt.
I bought him clothes as a gift and he loved them. So I have been buying his clothes ever since.
He initially wore whatever I bought for him but then he wanted to look stylish /look fashionable. After we met, he had a glow up & started to look really good/ in shape compared to his friends.
That's when the trouble starts as he wants to look his best now.
He only wears stretchy slim jeans (wont even touch any odd fabrics or designs). He hates V necks, shirts with collors, shirts with pockets, etc.. there is an endless list of things he wont wear. Even with the clothes he wear, he likes them and can hate it the next time he sees it.
When we go out, we spend more time looking his his outfit than on myself.
He despises shopping & gets irritated when he has to try on clothes at the shops. So I buy it from the shops or online to try it on at home. I return or give away clothes he doesn't like.
He wears out his clothes really quick or changes his mind about them so I have to keep buying him clothes. His body is also growing because of Gym & we are in a limbo where M is too small but also too big as different brands carry different sizes.
It really is like trying to find clothes for an Autistic teenager. He's a very mature and capable individual in almost every other aspects so I tolerate a few of his childish flaws.
Lately, he's been loving Echt & Oxford... I would love to know if there are great & affordable brands that has durable clothes. He used to wear Connor, YD, Tarocash but they wear out so easily.
