Please help in my buying decision

Hello everyone.

I recently took a test drive of xuv 3xo AX5 mpfi turbo Manaul.

To set the context I regularly drive a seltos na petrol manual and a santro xing from past 20 years.

Recently I was looking for an upgrade for my santro and wanted to try the xuv after so many positive reviews from automobile journalists.

My Observations:

1. The ride was very plush and comfortable

2. Nvh were best by far compared to any car in its and beyond the segment. Literally no engine, tyre or outside noise inside the cabin.

3. The engine felt very peppy and responsive, adding fun to drive characteristics.

4. Clutch - clutch pedal is feather light but very deep.

5. Dead pedal - absence of dead pedal was bothering a lot to me.

6. Steering - didn't feel very connected, don't know why, each reviewer praises its ride and handling, but i was disappointed by it coz i had lots of expectations in this department and my seltos felt better here. I even put it in sports mode still the steering felt light at high speeds.

7. Ergonomic - don't know why but i felt it to be off, i just couldn't find a perfect driving position, i tried adjusting the steering and seat, but still felt something as odd. (I'm short 5'7)

Now i want to know from someone who drives petrol manual in the city have you adapted to the weird clutch and absence of dead pedal.

Because I've to drive in bumper to bumper traffic and don't want an automatic as i feel it to be slow for my liking.
