everytime i close the lid on my lenovo loq 15arp9 (3050 model), the refresh rate on my screen gets reset to 60 hz

when i reset my laptop, the refresh turns back to 144hz, but when i close the lid it resets back to 60hz with no option to turn it back up to 144hz, re downloading the drivers for the gpu seems to fix it, but same issue when i close the lid, any tips plz
