Worried my mechanic forgot to change my oil

Brought my car in for a state inspection and oil change yesterday, which inevitably led to other routine maintenance tasks as well. When I got the car back, the mechanic left a wrench on my seat (not a big deal at all, but possibly a sign he was distracted). More importantly, there were two other things: he didn’t update the sticker for my next oil change and he didn’t change the internal notice so it still says 1500 miles until my next oil change.

I’m worried he forgot to change my oil. He billed me for an oil change. It’s not the money I’m worried about, but I don’t want to go another 5,000 miles if he never changed my oil. But I am worried if I ask, he’s going to say he did no matter what.

Any idea what I should do? 2024 Nissan Sentra to the extent that affects anything.
