0.5 League Start: Stormweaver or Blood Witch? Need advice!

I've been playing Stormweaver since 0.1. I really enjoy the ice/lightning spells and trying out different builds with every fresh league start. I know it's a standard pick, but it's the one I enjoy the most.

However, recent patches have made Blood Witch much more viable. It seems to offer superior DPS, crit, and survivability to basically any Sorc build.

I only have enough time to take one character to the endgame this league. I know we have to wait for 0.5 to drop to test the new systems and items properly, but based purely on what we know on paper right now, which one do you think is the safer or better pick?

Any insights from experienced players would be hugely appreciated!
