Need new car PDI suggestions before buying the new Tata Sierra
I’m planning to book the new Tata Sierra and wanted some suggestions from people here before going ahead. This will be my first proper big car purchase, so I don’t want to rush into delivery just because of the excitement. I’ve already started reading about PDI, VIN check, tyre manufacturing date, battery health, paint quality, panel gaps, underbody inspection, electronics, AC, documents, insurance, etc., but it feels like there are too many things to check properly at the showroom.
Would you guys suggest doing the PDI myself with a checklist, taking a local mechanic along, or getting a third-party PDI done? I came across Cars24 PDI as an option and it looks more structured than just doing a basic walkaround myself, but I wanted to know if anyone here has used them for a new car PDI. Since this is before registration, I’d rather spend a little extra and catch issues early than regret later.
