DIM: Macbook air m5

Context: I’m a 4th year nursing student who wants to buy my first macbook to study for the board exams (my ipad 9th gen can’t handle much of the paperwork I need done + some features of my review center’s online courses and my school’s website aren’t available on the ipad and requires a desktop)

I’m undecided but if I ever go through with med school, this will be helpful for me too. Plus of course the more fun aspects that I get to have a macbook to play roblox and watch netflix on my free time.

I considered buying the macbook air m4 first but I watched a ton of videos about it and found out that m5 is better for longevity. I, of course, don’t want to have to upgrade my macbook in a short period of time since it costs a lot.

I’d probably do some light video editing, mostly playing roblox and watching netflix, google chrome, a lot of tabs open for reviewing, a lot of google docs, watching review center videos, and saving pdf files.

M4 or M5?
