I (27F) am running out of things to talk to my boyfriend (28M) about on the phone. How do we stop having silent phone calls?

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly 6 months now. Things in person are great. There’s plenty to chat about and plenty to do. We live about 30 minutes of a subway ride away from each other and usually meet up about twice a week. The days we don’t meet up we call each other on the phone. However, lately there’s been an issue of not having anything to talk about. We don’t have any shared hobbies. He’s very much a homebody and is into playing games (though not as much lately), badminton, reading and sleeping. I’m into rpg’s (not as much lately), bars, clubbing, true crime, horror movies, kpop, baking, plants, Pilates, and dance. There’s hardly an overlap between our solo hobbies, meaning it’s hard to find things to talk about on the phone when we’re talking to each other. After discussing how our day went, it’s usually just silence on the phone unless someone thinks of something to say. My boyfriend thought of the idea of starting solo hobbies that we both do while we’re apart, so that we can then talk about it on our calls. I suggested sort of having a book club, where we read the same book and/or chapter and discuss characters, drama, events, etc. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to fix our silent phone calls?
