Important post for all freshers buying laptop. (Only for CSE branch people.)

This post is only for people taking CSE.

If you planning to buy a buying laptop please prefer macbook over windows gaming laptop, telling from personal experience.

I have a gaming laptop (dell g15), i got it 3 years back and i did not even game on it, it got a motherboard issue so now i am also planning to buy macbook. Its not just me you can see countless posts on reddit and other platforms also of gaming laptops not lasting. Even if you ask Seniors, for CSE branch they recommend macbooks only. My family member also a had a macbook which lasted for 10 years and i also heard from other they last atleast 5-10 years.

For gaming only console and desktops are the best. I own a xbox which is like 7 yrs old, still works flawlessly. I also own a gaming pc which is like 6 years old, played games day and night in it still works well. If money isn't a issue , you can go with gaming laptops but you need to be ready to buy a new one every 3-4 years, obviously some exceptions here some might last more than that.

Core ppl will have some compatibility with macbooks so they need to buy windows.

Many people in my batch who got gaming laptop in my batch are regretting of not getting macbook. I hope this post helps you all. I am in second year cse btw.
