15 days of building ChartPilot — 800 visitors, 30+ users, and 5 active customers using the product
I’ve been building ChartPilot for the last couple of weeks and wanted to share a quick progress update.
ChartPilot started as a simple AI chart analysis tool.
The first version was very basic:
upload a chart screenshot → get an AI-powered technical analysis report.
But in the last 15 days, it started becoming something bigger: an AI Market Workspace for traders.
Current numbers:
- 800+ visitors
- 3,200+ page views
- 30+ registered users
- 5 active customers currently using the system
- first paid customers already came in
- traffic from Reddit, X, Google, and even ChatGPT referrals
That last one surprised me a lot. Seeing chatgpt.com in my referrers made me realize AI discovery might become a real acquisition channel for small SaaS products.
What ChartPilot does now:
- AI chart screenshot analysis
- Chrome extension for TradingView
- Free market terminal
- News Radar / news-flow analysis
- Trading journal
- Analysis history
- Watchlist
- Credit-based AI reports
The biggest product shift was realizing that traders don’t just need “chart analysis.”
They need a workspace.
They want to:
- analyze charts
- track markets
- understand news context
- save previous analysis
- journal trades
- review decisions
- improve over time
That’s why I’m trying hard not to position ChartPilot as another “buy/sell signal” tool. There are already too many tools promising signals and guaranteed results. ChartPilot is more like an AI second opinion for traders.
It helps users understand market structure, key levels, scenarios, risk zones, no-trade conditions, news context, and their own trading decisions.
The product is still early, and I’m still improving:
- landing page messaging
- onboarding
- conversion
- SEO
- product design
- retention
But this is the first time the product direction feels really clear.
It’s no longer just:
“Upload chart → get analysis.”
It’s becoming:
Analyze charts.
Track markets.
Understand news.
Journal trades.
Improve decisions.
That’s the direction I’m building toward.

Would love feedback from other founders, traders, or anyone building AI tools.
