Had an interview through Classboxes for an entry level role, wanted to share my experience and get some advice

Question

So I applied on Indeed a while back and recently got an interview through Classboxes for an entry level position at one of their clients. For anyone who does not know, Classboxes is a consultancy that connects candidates with companies for tech roles. Before the interview I was upfront with them that my Springboot experience was limited, mostly from a class project. They were fine with it and mentioned that training would be provided, which I appreciated. The interview itself was a mixed experience. It started with basic questions which I handled well but then moved into some fairly advanced territory, Hibernate integration, dependency injection, annotation details. Stuff that honestly goes beyond what most entry level candidates would know. There was one question near the end about whether Springboot uses Java 7 or Java 8. I said Java 7 and the interviewer corrected me saying it uses Java 8. After the call I looked it up and the answer actually depends on the version of Springboot being referenced so it was not as clear cut as it was presented. I do have two other offers in the pipeline so this particular role was not a dealbreaker for me. I mainly showed up because the application was submitted a long time ago and I wanted the practice. I guess my question is, has anyone else had a technical interview through Classboxes or a similar consultancy where the questions felt misaligned with the role level? Would love to know how others handled it and whether it is worth following up with the recruiter about the experience.
