Unusually good logitech customer support

I guess it never hurts to reach out.

A few weeks ago I got in touch with logitch about my 2 year old x52 developing stick drift. I even admitted that it started after I had flooded my house and it had gotten wet.

When I reached out it was 2 weeks after my 2 year warranty was up.

Excerpt from their email today:
"Thank you for the update. I apologize that you are still experiencing the issue despite following the steps I previously recommended.

Please be advised that the warranty period for your unit has expired; however, we are prepared to offer a one-time courtesy replacement for your unit. Kindly confirm if you agree to this arrangement so that I may proceed with processing the replacement immediately."

I am not ever going to stop saying that logitech makes poor quality peripherals but I do think this was really cool.

The point of this post is that if you are having logitech issues even after your warranty has expired it is worth asking them for help.

They may send me some poorly refurbished garbage or it might be new in box. Impossible to tell but it's still pretty cool IMHO.

I'm putting this in hotas. it might belong in logitech but I am not sure.
