Sound quieter on Macbook

Hi, I noticed that when I listen to something on my Airpods when they are connected to my macbook, the sound is much quieter than when they are connected to my phone (and on both it is e.g. 50%).
It’s equally quiet when I am listening on YouTube and when on Spotify...so I guess that’s not the problem.

I found a post where it was said to change something in the sound input setting, but unfortunately that did not help.

Has anyone else had the same problem?
