first time flying since choosing to be CF

RANT

So I (26F) arrived in Spain earlier today with my parents.

It's absolutely gorgeous.

HOWEVER. The journey here was long, and I now understand anyone who's ever posted in this group complaining about babies on planes.

I feel like since choosing to be CF and realising I don't really like being around kids, I become irritated by them a lot faster.

Whilst in the lounge, a toddler (probably 2? I'm not good at guessing kid ages), was running up and down right next to us and doing that shrill shrieking they so love to do. This was at 7am, and we had been up since 4am.

On my flight, there was a baby a few rows back who would start crying at random intervals. As a nervous flyer, one of the last things I want to listen to on a plane is a random baby crying. I had a headache at the end of the flight.

To top it all off, we're not at an adults only hotel. I'm hoping that with half term in the UK almost being over, the hotel will become quieter in the next few days - I'd like to enjoy some peace by the pool.
