Colposcopy #2

For background, I had a colposcopy last year after my Pap smear came back high risk HPV positive and ASCUS. The colposcopy showed CIN 2/3. In the fall, I had a LEEP. Thankfully it went smoothly and my recovery was fairly easy. Unfortunately, I still had positive margins. My doctor suggested another colposcopy in 6 months.

Today I am having my second colposcopy. I am nervous as hell. Not really nervous about the procedure itself as it was a cake walk last time, but I am definitely concerned about the results. I’m afraid I’m going to need another LEEP. I see people on here talking about hysterectomies and it’s not something I want to have to think about. I am 29, no partner, but I don’t want to rule out having my own children someday.

Any thoughts, advice, or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
