Two Earnings, Two Different Signals
The market lately feels divided. AI stocks are still moving aggressively, while defensive giants are starting to face quiet pressure beneath the surface.
Yesterday my focus was on Marvell Technology after earnings, and now attention shifts to Costco Wholesale reporting later at 21:00 UTC after market close. Different sectors, different narratives, but both feel important for judging where momentum heads next.
MRVL delivered strong results with $2.418B revenue (+28% YoY) and $0.80 EPS, another sign that AI-driven demand remains strong. After reviewing the market reaction with Getagent, I still lean bullish here. So far, the move looks more like continuation than exhaustion.
COST is a different type of story. Less hype, more stability. Expectations are around $69.3B revenue and $4.56 EPS, but I think margins and membership growth will matter more than the headline numbers. Strong execution could support the current trend, while weaker margins may bring some short term pressure.
One thing I’ve liked lately is being able to react instantly instead of waiting for the next market session. Using bitget 24/7 trading has made it easier to position early when setups like these start developing.
What’s everyone thinking, MRVL continuation or fade? And does COST surprise to the upside or slip after earnings?
