Rivals Season Concept

With the twists and turns obsession the show has now, I have an idea for a returning season for duos/rivals.

Rivals season is always talked about, but it’s kind of likely any rivals would either be good with each other or mostly ignore each other. This concept might change that a bit, and sorry if this has been suggested before.

Each rival/pair is put together and is on the same tribe. They can play separate games, vote separately, etc. Votes go normally, the person with the most votes is eliminated as normal. However, if your rival/partner is voted out you go to redemption island. Real redemption island, not hangout island from WaW. Obviously with this concept you’d also need a slightly larger cast which gives opportunity to bring some extra names back.

Could this concept work and who would you like to see if so?
