Planning to Join DSU for BTech CSE — Seniors Please Please Please Help

Hi! I’m planning to join Dayananda Sagar University for B.Tech CSE Core, but I have a few doubts. I’d be really grateful if you could help me out.

• How is the college academically? Are there good opportunities overall?

• How are the placements for CSE? What are the average and highest packages?

• What are the usual class timings?

• How's the faculty?

• Are phones allowed during lectures/class hours?

• How strict is the 75% attendance rule?

• I’m from North India, so I’m a little concerned about the crowd and environment. Will being a North Indian be a problem there?

• I’m planning to stay outside the hostel because I’ve seen mixed reviews about the hostel and food. Are there good PGs/apartments nearby with single-sharing rooms?

• How is the ragging situation on campus?

• Is the college safe for girls? (My cousin is also considering joining.)

• If you’re pursuing B.Tech CSE there, what’s your fee structure?
