Question for black women in Toronto!

Hello ladies! I was chatting with some Toronto friends of both genders and I was telling them how I have heard it’s hard to date as a black woman in Toronto but most of them told me that it’s not true and that black girls get a lot of love especially if they’re habesha or Caribbean. I also remember hearing from my Nigerian pal in Toronto that the scene for black women was rough. So now I’m wondering is it more so a thing where ppl prefer a certain type of feature on black women if they do date them or if it’s more like LA where you can’t be darker than a paper bag for people to come up to you?
