All my partner does is sleep
The whole week, he gets home from work and immediately lies down. Occasionally he can muster up enough energy to hop on his bike and grab something to eat from the store. On Fridays, he gets home and lies down. Doesn't wash his clothes, wears the same work gear for weeks if I don't remember to wash it before Sunday. On Saturdays and Sundays he'll frequently sleep until 1 or 2 p.m. (after going to bed at 11 p.m.) and that's only because I wake him up eventually. We get up at the same time, 4:30 a.m., we both work full-time, I got home from an after work appointment two hours ago and he barely managed to open the door for me before going back to bed. It's 7 p.m. now and all he did today was sleep. If I don't remind him, he'll forget to wash his clothes and work gear, brush his teeth, trim his finger nails, shower, brush his hair, literally his entire life consists of nothing but being tired and sleeping. We can't even properly go out or do anything because he's just constantly tired or asleep. He'll fall asleep at the restaurant, too.
He was checked for sleep apnea already (after I forced him to for getting in trouble at work for overlseeping) and apparently nothing is wrong with his breathing. He'll probably have to go to a different sleep lab now. I refuse to believe that this is normal. I can't do this anymore.
Sometimes I feel lonely in our shared flat because even though he's here, he's barely present. I have to take care of not only chores but also both of our appointments and personal hygiene. I have to manage food and cooking. I keep having silent breakdowns where I just can't keep going like this and I feel like a horrible person because I believe my partner is really sick and it just makes me want to scream and run away from it all.
