New pass in southwest

Hi All! I'm a pretty fresh pass down in the southwest close to avonmouth so there's a lot of class 2 work down here, just wondering if anyone has any tips on what to do as a starter and what to avoid? Reddit seems pretty anti pallet work but I'm mostly worried about tight roads rather than the manual side so what would you guys recommend to avoid the right roads?
