IIT KGP Metallurgy vs 3rd Gen IIT CSE

Hi seniors, sorry for bothering here... Please help me
Around 6k rank in Advanced and have limited options (I am from WB) :
IIT K, H & KGP: Metallurgy & Material Science
IIT G: Chemical / Energy Engineering
2nd Gen IITs: Electrical / Mechanical
3rd Gen IITs: CSE

I am not much interested in CSE or any other branch for that matter. I like a decent college-branch compromise but am worried about placements in the core fields.
