How & where to find Apartments?

I work remote. Want to be near the city, but not wanna pay higher rent.
High rise & view would be preferred, but small buildings apartments would work too.
We are 2 people looking for a 2bed 2bath with rent as low as $1.2k/person.

Can someone suggest, where to look for apartments?
Looking to move in start of August.
