Which laptop to get

yall i need help in choosing a laptop so i recently bought a asus rog strix g 16 with rtx 5070 and ryzen 9 8940hx 32gb ram from microcenter like 2 days ago ik the return period is 2weeks but im going on vaca so got another day before i can exchange it for a macbook pro m5 gb 16gb ram and 1tb. im in grade 12 will use this for atleast the next 2.5yrs like till uni 2nd yr minimum so what should i do . i have a ps5 already and i dont think ill be able to game more than 60-70hrs realistically on this laptop this yr as im an ib student . and i feel a macbook would serve me better . main prob is battery life , and this laptop sounding like a jet in classroom or uni in future
