ngl the script alone takes forever

been making movie recap videos for a while now and ngl the script alone takes forever. like 4 hours just to break down a 2 hour film. you rewatch the same scenes over and over trying to find the right moments, write the narration, then rewrite it because it sounds boring.

and then the editing. don't even get me started. you scrub through footage for hours, your thumb literally hurts, one bad cut ruins the whole flow. voiceover needs to match the visuals perfectly and if it doesn't back to square one.

the burnout is real. you start a new film and you already know what's coming. the research, the script, the editing, the re editing. it's a full time job for a 3 minute video.
