Control Solution for Glucometers

Quick question: When I order control solution, do I need the manufacturer’s solution, or will any control solution work?

I’ve got several meters, and it seems silly to order a $10 vial of test solution for each of them. After all, the test solution should have a standard amount of glucose in it. Won’t it work for all of them?
