Transfering from Humanities to LifeSci

Lol so im getting messaged by a lot of people asking about using the humanities gateway/other non science gateways to transfer into lifesci so just gonna make it into a post based on my experience, if you have any questions please ask

So main thing is dont bother discussing this with a advisor many other people who also transfered using humanities or a another non sci gateway said the advisors were not very helpful

Make sure you have the highschool course preqs and also seats are reserved for science students until August 1st then you can try to get a spot in those courses, they may be full and youll have to take them in the spring/summer term, or keep waiting to see if a spot opens in winter also dont be picky about getting a good shedule your only goal should be just enrolling in the courses, you dont need to contact anyone or ask for permission to transfer you just apply at the end of the year with everyone else

These courses should allow you to get into 2nd year lifesci or other programs

Take these courses bio 1a03 bio 1m03 chem 1a03 chem 1aa3 math 1ls3 physics 1a03 (if full take in spring/summer you must do these courses)

envirsc 1c03, (if full you can take earthsc 1g03 psych 1xx3/1ff3 but they are harder)

psych 1x03/1f03 (if full take astron 1f03, envoscty 1ha3/1hb3)

You have space for 2 more electives take sustain 1s03 and art 1ui3 or look for something else
