Me [F19] trying to fix my LDR with BF [M21] after a trust issue. He is emotionally numb now. Need advice.

Need Advice

My boyfriend [M21] and I [F19] have been in a long-distance relationship for a year. Recently, I made a mistake and lied to him, which broke his trust. After that, we had continuous, intense arguments for 15 days. He is also dealing with heavy office and family pressure.

Due to all this stress, he has reached a state of 'emotional burnout' and feels completely numb. He talks to me normally like a friend, but all romantic feelings and warmth are gone. He says he feels nothing right now. I am constantly terrified and overthinking that I've lost him forever.

I want to fix this without putting any pressure on him. I'm planning to avoid relationship talks or serious arguments for the next 2-3 weeks, and just stay casual like a friend to give his mind some rest. LDR couples who handled emotional numbness or burnout after major fights, how long does it usually take to fade? How can I help him recover his feelings?"

How did you handle it? What steps did you take daily to reduce the pressure?

How did the feelings come back? Did the warmth return naturally after taking a break from serious talks?

How did you survive the anxiety? As the partner who was waiting, how did you stop overthinking and giving them space without panicking
