Casual breakthrough and k/d ratio

Discussion

I keep reading on this sub that Casual Breakthrough records your deaths but not your kills, lowering your k/d ratio. I know we're not supposed to worry about k/d, but I want to set the record straight. I do not think that CBT has any effect on k/d. Here's how I tested it: I looked at my k/d on BF6 and compared it to tracker.gg. It was the same (let's set aside the "player k/d" category* on tracker.gg). Then I played some rounds of casual breakthrough and purposely died a lot. None of those rounds show up at all on tracker.gg, and my k/d stays exactly the same. My k/d on BF6 profile ALSO stays the same, exactly mimicking tracker.gg. So my k/d is totally unchanged. Kills aren't added, but deaths aren't either. Then I play a couple rounds on normal Conquest. Both kills and deaths are reflected, and my k/d rises by .01 on both my profile and on tracker.gg. (I'm very bad, but better than I used to be, so my crappy k/d often rises by a tiny bit after a few games.) I don't know what the official forums say, and maybe other people's accounts are different, but I can confirm that in my case, casual BT does not affect my k/d at all. (Not that I care!)

*What about "player k/d" on tracker? I suspect that it is your k/d minus bot kills in normal, non-CBT modes.
