As a KCD1/2 fan, do I pick Ghost of Yotei or Death Stranding 2?

I am finishing my third run of KCD2.

Years ago I played Ghost of Tsushima, and though I liked it, I was slightly underwhelmed—it had some Assassins Creed grinding, and a story that was fine but not gripping. Still had fun though.

I played Death Stranding years back as well. I figured I would try out the sequel. Yet, in preparation for the June sale, I dived back into the original and remembered why I only played it once. Though fun, often relaxing, there was a lot of busy work, some of it very tedious. The story, with 30 minute to 1 hour long cutscenes, was barely coherent. In other words, like with GoT, I remembered having fun overall, but with some reservations.

Both are on sale. GoY rarely has a decent discount, though DS2’s discount is slightly better. Suggestions? I’m leaning towards GoY but I want to hear opinions.
