The hardest moment isn't deciding to quit scrolling. It's the 11pm craving when you're already in bed, phone in hand, and every app-blocker in the world feels like a locked door you know how to pick.

That moment needed something different. Not a blocker. Not a timer. Something that meets you mid-urge and gives you a real-time off-ramp.

So I built Urge Emergency Mode into Dopamine IQ.

You hit it when the craving spikes. It walks you through a structured recovery sequence - not a meditation, not a breathing exercise you'll skip. An actual intervention built for the overstimulated brain.

The app also logs every craving: type, intensity (1-10), trigger, whether you resisted. Over time the data shows you which triggers are hardest to beat and at what intensity you tend to give in. That pattern data lives in your weekly insight summary.

I have 12 screens in the app right now. Emergency is the one users open most after the dashboard. That told me something.

For those of you who've tried app blockers and hated them - what specifically made them fail for you? Trying to make sure Emergency Mode solves the actual gap.

I built an 'Urge Emergency Mode' for the exact moment you're about to spiral - here's what triggered the idea and what it actually does
